Summer time is certainly fast approaching and that means it is time to entertain your kids. If you are like most parents you have a hard time thinking of fun activities for your kids during the summer. About two weeks into summer, after the joy of getting out of school wears off, your kids will start to complain that they are bored. What can possibly cure those summer time blues? Inflatable water slide rentals, of course!
There are basically three types of inflatable water slides for rent. There is a traditional water slide that kids climb up and slide down into a pool at the bottom. Second, there is a pool-less design that many industry insiders agree is slightly safer than the ones with the pools at the bottom. (Some city parks and municipalities do not allow pools due to drowning hazards.) Thirdly there are inflatable slip and slides that kids, or adults can run and slide through. This is a spin on a classic toy.
All water slides described in the preceding paragraph are popular with kids, but adults can slide on these pieces as well if you rent a commercial-grade unit. Some of these commercial units have weight capacities over 800 pounds! These are NOT the slides you see in the department store or discount club! Renting an inflatable water slide for your kids during the summer does not have to be for a party. Call your local inflatable rental company and see if they offer weekday discounts. A lot of times these companies are not busy during the week and will give you a discount if you rent between Monday and Thursday. You can rent a slide during the weekdays, get a good deal, and entertain your kids all at once!
Inflatable water slides can be a great addition to a summer barbeque party or grill out. Keep the kids entertained while the adults socialize and talk about things while the kids slide until they get tired out! It is a great physical activity for them, gets them out of the house and their parents' hair, and is something different than watching a movie or playing video games! In this day and age of texting, video games, and the internet, it is very hard to get your kids out of the house and having fun with a physical activity. At least for one day they can be kids outside having a great time on the slide.
Remember, you cannot go wrong with renting a waterslide this summer. It is a great summer party activity that will create memories for your kids for years to come. Just remember that nothing is better outdoor summer party entertainment than an inflatable water slide!
