There are many different ways to say the same thing with many different words and phrases in the world. That is no different when it comes to bounce houses, moonwalks, or jumpers. In the southwest part of the United States these inflatables are referred to as brincas!

Brincas is Spanish for jumpers. Kids scream "Brincas!" when they see the jumpers at their birthday party or school carnival. It gets them excited because they enjoy jumping on the brincas.

Brincas, bounce houses, and jumpers come in many different shapes, colors, and sizes. You can get them with characters printed on them, or in just plain colors. Kids will always continue to call them different terms though, no matter what is printed on them.

A brinca is basically a square structure that is made from eighteen ounce vinyl in the shape of a castle or house. That is why they are sometimes called jumpy castles or bounce houses. Kids enter through the front and begin bouncing around for hours upon hours. They love having them at their parties because it is not something they get to do on the playground or in their homes normally. It simulates jumping on the furniture, which the parents hate, but the kids love!

No matter what the language, every kids agrees, "Brincas are fun!"
